Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 7, 2026
1. Agreement
By using DecideNext you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to everyone who creates or participates in a table or board.
2. The service
DecideNext is a free, collaborative tool for prioritizing initiatives and running team retrospectives. It is provided as a convenience, on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, and the service may be updated or discontinued at any time.
3. No accounts — keep your links safe
There is no sign-up. Access to a table or board is controlled by secret links. Anyone who has a link can use it, so you are responsible for keeping your manager and participant links private and for the activity that happens under them.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you submit — your tables, boards, initiatives, cards, votes, comments, and names. You grant us only what is necessary to operate the service: to store your content and show it to the participants you share it with. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any purpose beyond running the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use DecideNext to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, or infringing content;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to data, tables, or boards that are not yours;
- disrupt, overload, or attack the service or its infrastructure;
- abuse the API or attempt to bypass its rate limits.
6. API tokens
If you generate an API token, you are responsible for keeping it secret and for all activity performed with it. Tokens are revocable and expire; revoke a token immediately if you believe it has been exposed.
7. Availability and your backups
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be preserved. Please keep your own backups of anything important — DecideNext offers an export and backup feature for this purpose.
8. No warranty; limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DecideNext is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss or damage — including lost data or lost profits — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
9. Suspension and removal
We may remove content or restrict access that violates these terms or that harms the service or other users. You may stop using DecideNext at any time and delete your table or board, which removes its associated data.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
This is a plain-language summary of the terms for using DecideNext. It is not legal advice.
